Biography:
Amy E. Parker is originally from Lillington, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. Amy worked in the broadcasting industry with Capitol Broadcasting Company from 1989 until 1997. Amy graduated from Campbell University School of Law in 2000. While in law school, Amy was a summer research assistant for Professor Gregory Wallace, a teaching assistant for Legal Methods, a law clerk for the Law Offices of James R. Ansley and an intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office – Eastern District of North Carolina. Amy was the recipient of the Student Bar Association Service Award and a recipient of the Charles Barrett Howard Christian Citizenship Award.
Before establishing Parker Law, PA, Amy was a founding member of Crawford, Christopher & Johnson, P.L.L.C. and President of Crawford, Christopher & Parker, P.A. During this time, Amy practiced in the areas of family law, civil, criminal and juvenile. Amy further practiced in Fuquay Varina in the areas of family law, estate administration, estate planning, business transactions and general civil litigation.
Today, Amy’s family law practice areas include Separation, Divorce, Child Custody & Child Support & Visitation, Postseparation Support & Alimony, Equitable Distribution, Prenuptial Agreements & Postmarital Agreements, Termination of Parental Rights, Adoption. Amy also serves in the areas of Estate Administration, Simple Estate Planning, Business Transactions and General Civil Litigation.
Amy is married to Jeffrey Parker, and they have two children and a 14-year-old dachshund.
